Our clients approached us having just acquired the property, with a vision to turn a struggling business into a luxury boutique hotel & wedding venue. The project would involve the complete refurbishment and conversion of a “Grade A” Listed castle and former home to Mary Queen of Scots, with further plans to develop facilities throughout the castle grounds.

Working in collaboration with an acclaimed interior designer, international artisans and Historic Scotland, to deliver a luxury destination. The project included the full interior design and fit out of all rooms and public areas requiring extensive surveys, meticulous drawings and detailed specifications to deliver the vision while respecting the historic building fabric.
