Our developer client had commissioned the Internationally renown sculptor Andy Scott to install a public art installation as a centrepiece at the gateway location to the “Lomondgate” development. We were asked to collaborate with the Andy, the developer team, the Roads Authority and Transport Scotland to negotiate the legislative aspects and prepare technical drawings to allow the installation to be installed on a major new roundabout.

We were delighted to collaborate with Andy, initially turning his individually hand-drawn sketch ideas into a suitable format for presentation to the Planning & Roads Authorities.  Following that, we prepared technical drawings working in collaboration with Andy’s engineer to cover the civils aspects including foundations and lighting, to secure statutory consents and enable construction
