Crail Practice and Performance Hub

Crail Golfing Society in Fife has been granted planning permission for a state-of-the-art ‘Practice and Performance Hub’ featuring six fully covered bays, alongside a high-tech swing studio. This new facility will allow golfers of all abilities to receive instruction and practice in comfort, no matter the weather. Throughout the development, Crail Golfing Society worked closely with us, continuing the collaboration that began with our project at Royal Troon Golf Club. The bespoke 7-bay facility at Crail, which includes a simulator bay, was designed with a cantilevered roof to reduce ricochets and provide shelter, while the recycled rubber sports flooring helps minimize ball strike impact. The building’s design seamlessly integrates with the landscape, incorporating rubble stone, timber cladding, and a carefully considered location that respects the nearby 9th-century Danes Dike monument. Equipped with cutting-edge training technology, this new facility will stand as a lasting legacy for Crail Golfing Society. Building Warrant has now been submitted and following issue of tenders, work is due nto begin on site late autumn 2025.
