To “rescue & re-purpose”” a charming listed building in Newcastle that had originally been constructed as a synagogue and more recently operated as Newcastle High School for Girls. We were commissioned by Provenance Developments to collaborate with award winning interior designers Design Direction to convert the property in this desirable area of Jesmond.

The design response carefully combined sensitive restoration and conversion to create prestigious homes for modern living. The building exterior and main interior features well all retained & restored. Sensitive interventions were introduced within the main building and substantial new build elements were designed to create a workable solution resulting in stunning character homes.
