Following the creation of the stunning Spey Valley golf course, our client had considered various options for a permanent clubhouse, but none were considered viable or appropriate. We were approached to design a permanent golf clubhouse, worthy of the quality of the setting in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park, but adhering to a strict budget.

We designed a simple little building, respecting a traditional Scottish vernacular appearance while providing a stunning & intimate interior. The building capitalises on the magnificent views across the golf course towards The Cairngorms, by use of extensive glazing to the ground level public areas and placing changing facilities and rest lounges on the upper floors. The project involved full delivery, including interior design and fit out.
