We were approached by a London based architect acting for an international hotel chain to lead a local design team to help facilitate radical alterations to their existing hotel facility in Glasgow. The hotel was to be adapted to help facilitate an ambitious adjacent development by Network Rail to reorganise Queen Street Station.

We mobilised quickly to lead a locally based multi-disciplinary design team, secured statutory approvals, and provided appropriate information for the construction phase to enable a D + B contractor to undertake works – effectively involving cutting off part of the building, making good gable walls and completely reorganising mechanical and electrical services. Works included reorganising public areas and modifications to certain rooms.
